Dealgan Boxing Club

WRBA hosted a team of 11 boxers and 4 coaches from the Dealgan Boxing Club from Dundalk, Ireland. They were visiting the club for some training, sparring and also participated in a club show downtown Kitchener. Three of WRBA’s own boxers competed against members of the Irish team at the club show with results as follows

Mario Rados won a close split decision over Caolin Travers

Isaac Toleff lost split decision vs Ryan Watters

William YolCano and Jamie Williams went to war in the main event where Will would eventually lose on points but put on a great show

The kids then had a chance to visit Niagara Falls, sparred at Kombat Arts in Brampton, tour of the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium, and got to walk around Toronto. They have expressed how great of a time they had and are looking forward to seeing us again in the near future. Thanks to everyone that helped to make them feel welcome.
