New Heavybags Arrive

Just in time to start the new year, WRBA received 20 new heavybags from the Ringside Company in Lenexa Kansas….and they look AMAZING!

The purchase was approved by the Executive at their last meeting to replace the previous bags that were purchased when the building was built in 2009. Three companies were asked to provide a quote (Ringside, Title and Rival) and the contract was awarded to Ringside. Many thanks to Alex Rojas , Major Account Sales Manager at Combat Brands/Ringside and Patrick of Full Contact Sports Inc. in Winnipeg., the Canadian supplier of Ringside Brand.

This major purchase could not happen without the financial assistance of our partner at the Kitchener Sports Association (www.kitchenersports.ca). The KSA has continued to support our boxing club over the last 30 years with programs like the Fee Assistance Program, Scholarship Program as well as their Travel Grants and Funding.
